My name is Victoria Ribeiro and I am a Strategic Communications Senior and Marketing minor at Oklahoma State University. I plan to graduate May 2019. Although, I am from Texas, don’t let where I’m from fool you. I may own a pair of cowboy boots, but right next to them are a pair of 6-inch pumps. I also am no stranger to traveling and discovering new places. When I was 9, my parents’ divorce was tough for me to handle. Nevertheless, I grew up and learned to use their divorce as a traveling opportunity. At 11 years old, I was flying as an unaccompanied minor all the way from Texas to New York. I had so much fun going to Times Square on New Years Eve, watching the ball drop. That just goes to show, not all negative situations have to result in a negative outcome. My priority is to make the best out of situations, good or bad. It is my job to find the right solution. When life gives me lemons, I make lemonade, and you better believe it will be sweet!
I have an interest in public relations, broadcasting, photography, video production and graphic design. Over the summer, I landed my first broadcasting gig with NPR. Having the opportunity to work with such a powerful name and extraordinary professionals has given me confidence in my work, additional opportunities and even awards!
After graduation, I plan to put my innovative skills to reality and impact the media industry as much as possible. I am willing to take a leap in any industry that comes my way.
My mission is to assist and advise my clients on how to maximize marketing strategies and creative thinking to enhance their product or service.
In my down time I like to shop, travel and dance for The Tulsa Oilers Hockey team!
Thank you for stopping by and don’t forget to check out my work.
xoxo
